history of harot

Started with an idea in late 2000, the millenium of our time. Marc Hessel, brought together the Hebrew words Ha, and Oht to become Harot, meaning 'the light.' With the idea, and concept that with light there is no darkness, or falsity. The Harot Society, is a forum for intellectual, spiritual, and metaphysical thought using three broad categories of philosophy, ethics, and kabbalistic spirituality.

Originally a forum for Jewish philosophers, Harot is now a multifunction swiss army knife of many perspectives in these areas, and now welcomes everyone, in hopes that a grand unified theory of existence can be compounded with ideals of philosophy and spiritual thought.
